Composition:

Pantoprazole Sodium and Itopride HCl: Uses

Pantoprazole sodium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medication that reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat conditions related to excess stomach acid, such as:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): A condition where stomach acid flows back up into the esophagus, causing heartburn and other symptoms.

• Peptic ulcers: Sores in the lining of the stomach or duodenum.

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: A rare condition where the body produces too much stomach acid.

Itopride hydrochloride is a prokinetic agent that helps improve the movement of food through the digestive tract. It is used to treat:

• Gastroparesis: A condition where the stomach does not empty properly.

• Functional dyspepsia: A condition characterized by upper abdominal discomfort or pain.

When combined, Pantoprazole sodium and Itopride HCl are often used to treat:

• Diabetic gastroparesis: A type of gastroparesis that occurs in people with diabetes.

• Functional dyspepsia with delayed gastric emptying.
