Radoglim M4 Tablets

Composition: Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg (SR) & Glimepiride 4mg Tablets

  • Metformin Hydrochloride (500mg SR): Metformin belongs to a class of drugs called biguanides. The "SR" stands for sustained-release, meaning it releases the medication slowly over time. Metformin works by:

    • Decreasing the amount of glucose (sugar) produced by the liver.

    • Reducing the absorption of glucose from the intestines.

    • Improving the body's sensitivity to insulin, helping it use glucose more effectively.

  • Glimepiride (4mg): Glimepiride belongs to a class of drugs called sulfonylureas. It works by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps move glucose from the bloodstream into the body's cells for energy.
