Composition: Metformin Hydrocholoride 500mg (SR), Glimepiride 1mg & Pioglitazone Hydrochloride 15mg Tablets

• Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg (SR):

  • • Decreasing the amount of glucose produced by the liver.  

    • Improving the body's sensitivity to insulin.  

    • Slowing down the absorption of glucose from the intestines.  

     

  • The "(SR)" stands for sustained-release, meaning it's designed to release the medication slowly over time, which can help reduce side effects.

• Glimepiride 1mg:

  • This is a sulfonylurea. It works by stimulating the pancreas to release more insulin.  

• Pioglitazone Hydrochloride 15mg:

  • This is a thiazolidinedione (TZD). It works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin in muscle and fat tissue.
